THE RUDIMENTARY COLLECTION
Inspired from the Brutalist architecture, The Rudimentary Collection explores the early 20th century modernist movement's take on table top accessories. Using the basic elements of construction in India, the collection uses concrete, white cement, stainless steel and bamboo as primary material.
The collection traverses back and forth from organic to geometrical forms and shapes with products exploring the rich contrast between the white cement and the concrete.
The collection consists of five table top accessories. It emphasises on materials, textures and construction, producing highly expressive and unique forms. The collection attempts to give a profound tactile experience ranging from rough concrete textures to smooth stainless steel.
